Mary Lou Sarmiento is responsible for growing Convene’s presence in the international markets and some domestic locations including the Chicago area. Prior to joining the Convene® team in February 2006, she served as PCMA’s Vice President of Membership since 2003. A graduate of Purdue University, Sarmiento started her career in the hotel industry and then focused on business development and marketing positions within corporations that supply to the hospitality industry.
