Committees

Southeast Chapter Committees definitions and responsibilities are outlined below.  If you are interested in participating on a committee, please email us at southeast.chapter@pcma.org.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee primarily works on ways to retain and attract members. Most often, the membership committee is your first point of contact when you join the chapter and are the people you look to when you have questions about your membership.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting and welcoming new members and first time attendees at all monthly programs
- Answering membership questions
- Organizing one Phone-A-Thon campaign each year

Communications/Website Committee

The Communications/website committee  role is to keep members up to date on chapter new, activities and events using a variety of mechanisms.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare announcements for chapter events in a variety of chapter communication vehicles
- Collect and coordinate content for production of chapter newsletters, possible writing articles for newsletter
- Update chapter Web site pages including; news, calendar of events, main page, chapter leader listing, etc.
- Utilize Cvent (or another email service) to communicate chapter events to members and prospects via email.
- Send fax broadcasts as necessary for announcement of chapter events.
- Take photos at chapter events and share with PCMA HQ.

Community Services Committee

The Community Services Committee handles all of the philanthropic efforts of the chapter.

Responsibilities:
- Organize the Service N Sync program
- Locate a charity to support throughout the year
- Organize a drive at one of the quarterly meetings for the charity selected for the year

Program Committee

The Program Committee handles the monthly meeting programs and educational content.

Responsibilities:
- Solicitation of venues to host quarterly chapter meetings
- Selection of program topics/speakers and program content
- Confirmation of speaker requirements and arrangements
- Collects and prepares meeting information for the communications committee to be distributed through Cvent
-Overseeing the coordination of onsite logistics Assisting with coordination of chapter meetings in outlying areas

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsorship committee is responsible for developing, promoting, and tracking recognition and reward programs for sponsors.

Responsibilities:
- Actively soliciting sponsorships for the SE Chapter of PCMA
- Work closely with all other committees to ensure sponsorship needs are being met
- Create sponsorship material to promote sponsorship program
